Instant torque for big-bore baggers. The WP580-M8 Milwaukee-Eight camshaft shifts the WP550’s punch lower in the revs, lighting up 124–132 ci builds—and the H-D 131 crate motor—right off idle. Torque rolls in at 2,500 RPM, surges past 3,000, and holds strong to 6,000 RPM, with dyno numbers landing in the mid-160s for both horsepower and torque. A crisp, lopey idle hints at the .580" lift and revised timing, yet street manners stay civil for long hauls. Plan on upgraded springs, pushrods, and a proper tune; bolt it in, twist the throttle, and feel big-bore pull everywhere on the graph.
