Welcome to Ward Performance, a premier CNC machine shop based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in high-performance motorcycle engines. With over 35 years of expertise, we have been dedicated to enhancing the power and performance of motorcycles through precision CNC porting services.


Founded by Rick Ward, a former NHRA Pro Stock Bike racer and 1995 NHRA US Nationals winner at Indianapolis, Ward Performance boasts a team with unmatched knowledge and expertise. We excel in designing and developing CNC programs for porting processes, specifically for Harley Davidson intake manifolds and cylinder heads. Our computer-controlled machines meticulously shape and smooth the ports to maximize volume and airflow, leading to significant horsepower gains and overall performance improvements.


Our reputation extends to supplying cylinder heads to top-tier teams in drag racing, including NHRA Pro Stock Bike, Top Fuel, Funny Bike, Pro Street, Road Racing, and Land Speed Racing. We also cater to high-performance street applications for renowned shops across the United States. Our cylinder heads have set records in Top Fuel, Funny Bike, Pro Mod, Pro Stock, and Pro Street categories. Notably, we also CNC port heads for the current world champion S&S Indian King of the Baggers.


To maintain our industry-leading status, we continually invest in advanced machinery. The Newen Contour BB in our workshop enhances valve seat profiling, delivering superior performance with perfectly concentric seats and flawless finishes. Additionally, our Haas VF4SS 5-axis CNCs, dedicated to porting cylinder heads and manifolds, enable us to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
